Mini chicken pitas

  • 12 mini pitas
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) 0% Liberté plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) mayonnaise
  • 120 grams chicken breast or 170 grams flaked tuna (regular can)
  • ½ cup alfalfa
  • ½ red pepper
  • Pepper and lemon juice to taste




  1. Open the mini pitas with a knife to form pockets.
  2. Dice the red pepper and chicken.
  3. In a bowl, combine the chicken (or drained and flaked tuna), Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, red pepper, pepper and lemon juice.
  4. Fill the pitas with alfalfa and the chicken (or tuna) salad.
  5. Serve with veggies.

It also cuts the fat content by half, since Greek yogurt is fat free. Finally, it provides more protein. You can also try adding some curry powder.
